‘Teen Wolf’ season 3 spoilers: Tyler Posey dishes on midseason finale

With the midseason finale of “Teen Wolf” airs on MTV in a matter of weeks, we have a message for you courtesy of Tyler Posey: Expect something big. This is not going to be your ordinary episode of the show, and it also looks like we are going to see the lead character really come into his own more than he has to date.

Speaking on this very subject in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Posey had the following to say on this key episode, which will take place following a very pivotal death that you are going to see in the weeks ahead:

“It’s going to be the biggest thing in Teen Wolf history so far … And Scott is going to finally show why he’s the lead of the show.”

Posey also teased that in the upcoming sixth episode of the season, we’re going to see Scott get all emotional over what happened to Derek in a way that we have not quite seen him before:

“It shows a side of Scott you’ve never seen before and it was a lot of fun to play and very emotional and everyone on set was crying. So get ready with those tissues.”

This episode that will feature these tears carries with it the very-interesting title of “Motel California,” which suggests that we could see some pretty interesting (and horrifying) shenanigans in a place that they do not really have the opportunity to readily escape from. What better place is there for Scott to try and emote? We certainly can’t think of one.
