Landman season 2 episode 9 promo: Is Cami on board?

With Landman season 2 episode 9 arriving this weekend on Paramount+, is it fair to expect that everything is about to hit the fan on a much more serious level?

Well, the first thing that we really should go ahead and remind you of here is that this is the penultimate story of the season and with that, whatever happens is almost sure to set up the finale. We imagine that there are some surprises coming around the corner, whether it be a life-threatening crisis or something that completely alters a career.

So where will the focus be moving forward? Well, if you are to believe the latest promo, at least some of it could be tied to Demi Moore’s character of Cami. If you head over to the link here, you can see some of what we’re talking about here as she indicates that she is seemingly ready to take some greater risks. She recognizes at this point that if she is going to lead M-Tex, she can’t be averse to the very thing that helps to make it successful.

What we are so curious about here is that with Cooper out working with a crew and Cami set to make a big decision, are we about to get an event that legitimately changes everything? Something that we’ve grown more aware of over the past 15-20 years is the Game of Thrones model of storytelling, where you deliver your big shock in episode 9 and then spend the finale sifting through the aftermath. In particular it would make some sense for Taylor Sheridan to go this route here, especially since there has been criticism about the slow pace of the story this season already.
