‘MasterChef’ USA: Graham Elliott hands out 4th of July burger advice (video)

MasterChefFor those of you who love “MasterChef,” tonight is going to be somewhat disappointing. Why? The Fox cooking competition is going to be off the air thanks to the 4th of July holiday, which means that you are going to be spending more of your own time cooking rather than watching people do the same thing.

However, we do at least have something here that could be best described as a tasty little appetizer to keep you excited for what is coming up next: A new video featuring Graham Elliot! As you can see below, the famous chef goes through the instructions as to the best ways in which to craft the perfect burger, including the right way to cook it, and a secret that he picked up from one of his fellow judges in Joe Bastianich.

As for why there’s no “MasterChef” tonight, the simple answer really is to blame the holiday. There will be people traveling tonight and shooting off fireworks, so it makes a heck of a lot more sense to put your focus on something like celebrating the holiday more than it does watching a TV show. “MasterChef” will be on for many more Wednesday nights when you don’t have as much going on, and they have no interest at all in taking the ratings hit. It’s better to just run a repeat of last week’s wedding cake challenge (and other assorted activities) instead.

If you do want to read our exclusive interview with Graham from earlier this week, where we asked him about some of the events of this season along with what is coming up moving forward, you can check it out by heading on over to the link here.
