Sweetpea season 2 premiere date: A winter 2026 reveal?

Is there a chance that we are going to get a Sweetpea season 2 premiere date reveal between now and the end of the winter?
Ultimately, we do get first and foremost why there would be some measure of discussion around it now. After all, remember for a moment that Ella Purnell is starring in another show right now in Fallout and that does lead heavily into discussion on what else she is up to. Also, filming for her serial-killer drama has already wrapped up in the UK! It airs overseas on Sky whereas here in America, there is an opportunity to see it on Starz.

Now in theory, there is a chance that a premiere-date reveal comes out this winter to capitalize on what’s happening with Fallout, but at the same time, it is far from guaranteed. Starz is a network rather notorious with taking their time to bring shows back on the air!
While Purnell was hesitant to say anything too major on the series’ future to Deadline recently, we do think she offered up some reasons for excitement:
I’m exhausted, and it was worth it. It was a really crazy season. Season 1 was quite very small and tame in comparison to how bonkers this season is. There’s so much in it. It’s big.
Just the mere scale alone here has us intrigued as to what Rhiannon Lewis could be up to next. We know that for a good chunk of the first season, she was simply out to kill those who she held a grudge against. However, that could be changing moving forward based on the events of the finale. There is an opportunity now to make the story even more brutal and surprising — and why wouldn’t you want to bring things in that direction? We do tend to think that even if nothing is revealed this winter, we will get to see the series back in 2026.
