Landman season 2 episode 6 promo: Trust issues

This weekend marks Landman season 2 episode 6 arriving on Paramount+ and at this point, is a master plan about to be hatched?

Well, based at least on the information released so far by the aforementioned streaming service, we can say that Gallino seems to be dipping his hands into as many different pies as humanly possible. He is trying to do what he can to work both Tommy and Cami at the same time, potentially so that he eventually comes on top — or, he at least gets exactly what he wants.

If you think back to the end of last season, Andy Garcia’s character made his intentions clear to Tommy — he wants them to be “friends.” This is not really a friendship that anyone should welcome, all things considered. He runs with the cartel and he wants to effectively hold anyone hostage in league with them. Driving wedges is a way to make that happen — not that there was not tension already between Tommy and Cami. She has the ability to try and ship him out the door … but will she do it?

You can view the full preview for what is ahead over at the link here, and the simplest prediction to make at present is simply that everything will get increasingly messy as time goes on — and why wouldn’t it? We have not even mentioned the fact that Cooper could end up over a barrel, or that at some point, something increasingly terrible will probably happen with Tommy’s home life. Sure, every now and then we do just see Angela and Ainsley for comedic relief, but doesn’t there have to be a little bit more when the dust finally settles? Maybe this is just us projecting for what we want out of this plotline…
