Landman season 2 episode 6 spoilers: Tommy’s tough deal

As we look towards Landman season 2 episode 6 on Paramount+ next week, it is quite refreshing to know where a few different things stand.

First and foremost, let’s go ahead and point out that we’ve reached the halfway point of the season and by virtue of that alone, we tend to think that everything is going to get more intense from here on out. We are already seeing at this point the Tommy – Cami relationship tested. The two have known each other for years, but never quite in the capacity they now find themselves in. This is what makes where things stand for the two of them such a delicate arrangement, as they need to figure out how to navigate the business side as Demi Moore’s character receives advice on the future of M-Tex. Tommy may have a plan, but that does not mean she will agree with it in the slightest.

As for what to expect elsewhere…

We do think it is fair to wonder just how long T.L. staying with the family is going to work. You can argue that the “Pirate Dinner” this week offered a few moments of relative peace, as it offered a sense of family he has been missing — even amidst the chaos. However, do not forget the fact that he is a man who comes from a totally different walk of life and honestly, it feels frivolous to assume that he would be able to just immerse himself in this world like a chameleon. This is a man nearing the end of his life; you can hardly change your stripes so fast in this situation.
