High Potential season 2 trailer teases Game Maker showdown

In a little more than a week you are going to see the High Potential season 2 premiere on ABC — are you ready for a showdown?

At the end of the first season, we saw the Kaitlin Olson murder-mystery show go to the next level, and it really had to do first and foremost with the presence of the Game Maker. David Giuntoli plays this deadly character, who is one of the few intellectual rivals Morgan has seen since the start of the show. Now that she is more aware of his existence, another question surfaces: What can she do in order to stop him?

If you head over to the link here right now, you can see the full High Potential season 2 trailer, one that does a reasonable job of setting the stage for what more is coming. It also shows how much Morgan is going to be fighting (almost immediately) to make sure the Game Maker is taken down a notch. She recognizes that he could come after her family — so does that mean she is going to start suspecting him for every crime, even those he is not involved with at all? That is one way you have to look at the situation now.

In general, it is our general feeling now that this season will have a serialized element for at least a certain part of it — but you also have to remember that there are a lot of procedural moments, as well. We hardly think that this is going to change at this point, mostly because this is one of those shows that really wants viewers to discover it whenever they can.
