Comic-Con 2013: ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ ‘Bones’ season 9 panel dates set
While there are still a number of dates to go until everything is set in stone for Comic-Con next month, there are a few things that we can confirm for you: When some of your favorite stars are going to be hitting the stage for some panel discussions.
Remember the news that “How I Met Your Mother” was going to have a panel at the show for the first time? Well, we can now confirm that this said panel will take place on Saturday, July 20, and will feature executive producers Carter Bays and Craig Thomas along with the full cast. The big missing link here? Newcomer Cristin Milioti, but it is pretty clear that the creative team does not want her to been in the same room as Josh Radnor until the two characters finally meet. That, to us, is very much understandable.
Meanwhile, another show entering its ninth season will be present in “Bones,” but there are a couple of key differences as this show is not in the process of its final season (at least based on what the producers hope), and the series is also not a rookie to this show. There is no Emily Deschanel on the list at this time, but David Boreanaz (who really should be at this convention every year with his geek cred) will be featured along with executive producers Stephen Nathan and Hart Hanson.
Comic-Con has of course evolved beyond just a place where genre shows and alternative mediums are celebrated. After all, neither one of these shows is necessarily traditional, even if they do have some geeky elements to them.
Which show are you the most excited to see? If you want to check out more news on “How I Met Your Mother’s” final season, our advice is to head on over to the link here.
