‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: No Lancelot return?

LancelotThere are “he said, she said” battles that happen all the time in this business, but for them to actually take place within the confines of the same show is pretty rare. With that, we turn to the interesting story that sort-of broke yesterday when it came to Lancelot and “Once Upon a Time,” only for it to be later denied by ABC.

The news about the “return” of Lancelot for the show’s upcoming third season (which starts filming next month) was shared by the actor who plays him in Sinqua Walls, who said the following to HollywoodLife in an interview:

“I’m going back to Once Upon A Time in the summertime to do more with Lancelot, so that should be really fun. I really love that character … I don’t know exactly how the character’s going to evolve, but we’ll see more parallels, and [get more] answers. And is he really dead, or not?”

However, a rep for the show then came out and said that there are no plans to bring the character back at this time, which to us really just suggests that you are better off not making any assumptions about what is coming up.

So why report this, if there is so much ambiguity behind it? We like to believe that information is power, and this way the information is out there. It also gives us something to talk about in what the Lancelot character could do if back on the show. We liked the dimension that he added to the cast, just as we also liked the ties that he did have to King Arthur. We haven’t met the king before, but he is on the list of the people we would most like to meet.

Regardless of whether or not he actually comes back, we want to know from you: Do you want more Lancelot?
