2013 Daytime Emmy Awards: ‘The Young and the Restless,’ ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ win

Daytime EmmysOn Sunday night, the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards recognized some of the best in  television before 8:00 o’clock, and you can really consider this in some ways to be a love letter to soaps. This type of television is in many ways falling by the wayside, and this time around, there were barely enough daytime dramas on the air to fill in a category. Nonetheless, it was nice to see some of these people be honored, even if it was on a network in HLN that does not actually broadcast any soaps at all.
