‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3: First look at Ginnifer Goodwin’s new role
While Ginnifer Goodwin will start filming the third season of “Once Upon a Time” in just a matter of weeks, the actress is now dealing with a role that is a little bit more Presidential … at least when it comes to being the First Lady. Goodwin is going to be playing the part of Jackie Kennedy-Onassis in the upcoming TV movie “Killing Kennedy,” and we now have the first photo of the actress in the role.
This project is the follow-up to the movie “Killing Lincoln,” and both movies are based on the books written by Fox News host Bill O’Reilly. It’s interesting to see how much Goodwin looks the part here, especially since it is almost difficult to recognize her without that famous pixie cut. (Even in the flashbacks on “Once Upon a Time,” we still imagine it being there.)
As for who will be playing the famous President himself in this project, that honor goes to “Parks and Recreation” star / TV movie pro Rob Lowe. He follows up a number of other strong actors playing the part, with one of the most impressive ones being Greg Kinnear in “The Kennedys,” the controversial miniseries that ended up airing on ReelzChannel after it was originally dropped by History.
“Once Upon a Time” will resume filming in Vancouver, and while there is no announced premiere date just yet for Goodwin’s third season, you can expect it to start in late September / early October.
