As we prepare to see Rescue: Hi-Surf season 1 episode 6 on Fox next week, be prepared for what is a little bit of a change-up here. After all, a lot of episode 5 was pretty action-focused and as we move forward now, things could be a little bit more calm.

However, a sense of calm in one way does not mean that the story will be in that form across the board. “Drift” is an episode that is going to be throwing almost a little bit of everything at you, whether it be action, drama, or even some romance.

To learn more, all you have to do is check out the full season 1 episode 6 synopsis below:

The swell has settled down, and the North Shore community comes together for Rocky’s paddle out. Hina thinks about switching districts and Em tries to console her after the recent tragedy. Meanwhile, Laka, Will and Kainalu try to save a beachgoer that accidentally spears his own foot while fishing. Romance heats up between Sean and Em, and Sonny takes a personal day to go on a motorcross ride to clear his head, but ends up losing control in the all-new “Drift” episode of Rescue: Hi-Surf airing Monday, Oct 21 (9:02-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (RHS-106) (TV-14 D,L,S,V)

The one struggle outside the show

Can Hi-Surf work to find a stable audience? So far, we have seen the live numbers for the show steadily — while this does happen with a lot of new shows, at the same time you do have to hope that eventually, there is a way for a lot of the numbers to stabilize a little bit. We’re just going to have to wait and see if or when that happens here, and also what Fox ends up deciding for the future.

For now, here’s just a simple reminder that if you want more surf and more rescues, be sure to watch live!
