AMC’s ‘The Killing’ season 3, episode 4 preview: First look at ‘Head Shots’
At the end of Sunday night’s new episode of “The Killing,” we saw a video message that officially marked where the investigation is going to go: A search for not only a missing woman, but a dangerous man on the other side.
If you want good news, you’re only going to find it for one Ray Seward. This video serves as all of the proof that you need that the man may not be deserving of his death-row sentence, but this does not mean by any means that the guy is actually going to start making his prison life any easier on himself. Thus far, he has really mastered the art of staying miserable and basically trying to do terrible things to himself. (To be honest, though, this has been the weakest part of the season thus far to us, and we really hope that it changes soon.)
For Bullet, the story that follows this video is mostly that he will end up playing a more active role in the investigation than ever. When it comes to actually ensuring that the right man is caught, this is very much a good thing. As for keeping his credibility on the streets intact? This is very much a different story.
Hopefully by the end of this episode, Linden and Holder will actually be able to come up with something that has really eluded them thus far in the competition: Finding actual suspects, and really getting deep into the emotional part of the search. It does seem like this will happen, at least based on the fact that something appears to be making Linden question whether or not she wants to continue.
