NBC’s ‘The Voice’: Danielle Bradbery, Amber Carrington tease hometown visits
Remember how the top three contestants on “American Idol” all have hometown visits? Well, it appears that some of the remaining contestants on “The Voice” were all given a similar opportunity over the past few days.
While not all of the singers have confirmed this news, some of them have not been online. For example, Amber Carrington of Team Adam Levine has confirmed that she has both returned and performed in her hometown of Rockwell, Texas (a suburb of Dallas). Meanwhile, Danielle Bradbery confirmed that she had a chance to arrive back in the Houston area to celebrate being back home for the first time in two months. Neither party was able to stay in their respective cities for much of an extended period of time, but after around two months of being away from home and doing other things, this has to be quite a bit of a nice change of pace.
At the end of this episode, we will have an opportunity to see which singers are worthy enough of making it to the finale. Based on our rankings for most of the season, we imagine that Danielle is probably a lock pending some sort of disaster. Meanwhile, Amber probably has a pretty good shot if she can deliver a performance like she had with both “Stay” and “Skyfall” this season. The only other near-lock that we would consider at this point is Michelle Chamuel, who has delivered a number of great covers all season long.
Who are you rooting for on “The Voice” at this point? In addition to sharing all of your picks below! Meanwhile, you can also head on over to the link here if you want to see our full contestant rankings for the weekend.

All five of them went home and did local radio/TV interviews, as well as a performance. Michelle sang at the Red Sox game, Sasha at the Village Underground, Swons at some country Hall of Fame thing.
