NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 spoilers: How much do the actors really know?

RevolutionAs casual observers or fans of any given TV show, we like to sit around and imagine that some of the actors are in the know on every little thing that happens to their characters episodes or even seasons down the road. The reality? It doesn’t quite work that way, and this is for a number of reasons. In some cases, actors do not want to know the future of their characters, or producers don’t want them to see what’s coming around the bend. On some other cases, it’s strictly a case of the writers not even knowing what is coming up just yet.

We don’t know what the case is right now when it comes to “Revolution,” but one thing that we can say right now is that Tracy Spiridakos is definitely in the dark. The actress, best known for playing Charlie on the show, tweeted out the following message earlier this week as proof that she really does not know much at all about the road ahead:

“Thrilled you all enjoyed the finale! I can’t wait to start work again to see what happens, so curious!!”

Basically, she knows nothing about the plans ahead. Is it possible that executive producer Eric Kripke whispered a few things in her ear after the finale taping? Sure, but these weren’t necessarily anything concrete. After all, she at least knows that season 2 production is moving to Austin, and there will be new characters that comes with that new setting. She also of course knows the start date, which we imagine is not really that far away considering that series usually start up filming (at least ones that are not sitcoms) a couple of months before the premiere date.
