‘Britain’s Got Talent’ results: Demi Lovato performs; did Luminites, Pre Skool advance?
There was something rather endearing about tonight’s “Britain’s Got Talent” results show. Maybe it was an opportunity getting to watch Demi Lovato insult Simon Cowell on a different show other than “The X Factor” for a change, or maybe it was listening to David Walliams literally shock the pants off of everyone at home with a rather well-placed “that’s the hardest it’s ever been” joke. (Oh, he keeps finding ways to make Simon uncomfortable.)
Following Demi’s performance of “Heart Attack,” which brought all of the energy that you would have expected from her (plus hundreds of screaming fans), we had the results. To be honest, this one was very easy to call: Luminites would be going straight through if the voting public had any sense, and then Joseph Hall and Pre Skool would be facing off in the battle of the ages.
If this happened, the major debate would be trying to reward a group of cute, endearing young dancers, or a guy who has worked very hard all his life, but lacks the “aww” factor. We would hope that the judges would go with experience here, mostly because we have already seen a number of kid acts go through.
So were we right? The only close call came between Joseph Hall and Rosie O’Sullivan and he pulled it out to make the three expected acts enter the top 3. Then, the Luminites were called as the winners for the night, and we were left with the dream scenario from a drama perspective. It was a split decision, mostly because Simon Cowell wanted to leave it up to the public rather than making a decision for them. This meant that Pre Skool lives on! We were major Joseph fans, but it’s hard to be upset when you have what was actually a very good group of young dancers, and this is coming from the most cynical, anti-kid act person out there.
What did you think about these results, and did the right person go home? If you want to read our full review of the “Britain’s Got Talent” performance show, you can do so over at the link here.

Not happy with results. Rosie O’Sullivan should have been paired off against Joseph, not PreSkool.
