‘The Walking Dead’: Refresh with new Andrew Lincoln, Lauren Cohan shots

While you may be eagerly looking forward to “The Walking Dead” season 4 coming to AMC this October, we have a little bit more scoop before you get there concerning some of the show’s stars.

For the sake of this article, though, we’re putting the focus almost primarily on reflection before getting the opportunity to move forward. If you go over to the show’s official site, you can see a sequence of new photos that give you a look behind the scenes at the final episodes of season 3. These photos were actually taken many months ago in the fall of last year, but thanks to the finale airing less than two months ago, it really still feels like yesterday for most viewers as they were saying goodbye to Laurie Holden’s Andrea and Dallas Roberts’ Milton. In some of these images, Andrew Lincoln (Rick) and Lauren Cohan (Maggie) are among the featured actors.

So what is happening right now in season 4 production? The show is already deep into at least the second or third episode, which of course includes long days under the  hot Georgia sun. This show has a pretty rigorous production schedule, and also a heap of extras. Luckily, producers have done a great job at keeping spoilers from turning into their own mini zombie invasion. As much fun as we have writing about this show, there are still a ton of details that we really don’t want to know anything about.
