‘So You Think You Can Dance’ preview: Adam Shankman returns for Boston auditions
While “So You Think You Can Dance” has a number of go-to guest judges that are always a delight to see, we have to put Adam Shankman somewhere near the top of the list. He is always honest, often funny, and he has the sort of dance insight that comes from being involved in so many aspects of the craft over the years. He’s also given so many dancers jobs that he is the sort of person that you really want to make a good impression on.
So will some contestants be able to do that in Boston? Based on the first clip that we have below from Tuesday night’s new episode, it sure looks like it. A number of performers are going to put on a strong showing, including a few that defy gravity, and others that do a few moves that may be a little too suggestive for this show.
We are getting closer to the start of Vegas Week, and overall, we have to say that we’re feeling good about the group assembled. There is once again something for everyone, and while we’d love to see a little more krumping, hip-hop, or even some more international styles of dance, there are still opportunities left for all of these styles to turn up.
