‘Hot in Cleveland’: Heather Dubrow goes from Orange County to Ohio

If you remember back on Monday night’s “Real Housewives of Orange County” episode, one of the major plots that unfolded revolved around Heather Dubrow’s upcoming guest spot on the hit show “Hot in Cleveland.” Well, how’s this for smart synergy? Just two days after the Bravo series aired this episode, the Betty White sitcom is about to air the episode featuring Dubrow at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.

For those of you who haven’t heard anything about her appearance yet, here’s the rundown. Heather is playing the role of Nikki, a woman who is set to clash in a big way with Wendie Malick’s character of Victoria.  It should make for good television, especially if it turns out to be a much more hilarious version of a “Real Housewives of Orange County” episode. (Hey, the Nikki character does have some serious reality TV ambitions.)

Check out the official description for the episode, entitled “The Conversation,” below:

“When Nikki, a woman from Emmet’s past shows up, Victoria questions her relationship with Emmet while Melanie and Elka deal with an unwanted house guest. Joy falls for a handsome doctor, but he has just one flaw.”

In case you missed it a few months ago, the video below also features Heather on set talking a little bit about her character, the cast, and that almost-meta feeling that comes with filming herself filming another series. The clips of her in action are pretty funny, since she seems to be sending up the common perception of the “Real Housewives” franchise and what the cast members are like in real life. Also Dubrow has long touted herself as an actress on the hit Bravo show, so now it’s time to really see what she’s got.
