‘Big Brother Canada’ interview: Chats with Alec Beall, Andrew Monaghan, AJ Burman

Following the “Big Brother Canada” finale on Thursday night, we had an opportunity to have a little bit of fun sweating things out in the backyard with some of the houseguests. It was a crazy, emotional atmosphere at the time, mostly since we had just witnessed one of the most insane finales in the history of reality TV and were still trying to digest it.

Therefore, it’s fair to say that everyone, from us journalists to the contestants and producers, were a little bit scattered and all over the place trying to pick up the pieces while doing exit interviews. From a standpoint of getting good answers, this made things a little bit more fun.

Earlier today, we posted a video interview featuring us along with some other writers talking with winner Jillian MacLaughlin, and this time around, we have a pair of clips featuring a pair of close-knit alliances: The Sheyld (otherwise known as Peter Brown and Alec Beall), and AJ Burman and Andrew Monaghan. The chats are pretty scattered when it comes to subject matter, but it covered everything from the shocking mistake by Topaz to vote for Jillian, and who could be potential all-stars on another season of the show.

As with Jillian, we found everyone to be pretty engaging and open about the experience, with Andrew and Alec being guys we really wish we had a little more time to talk to. (AJ was sitting closer, and we also had a chance to interview Peter on Friday for a substantial period of time, which is why we don’t have him featured in the title.)
