While some cast members from “The Walking Dead” have already started to arrive in Atlanta in order to prepare for the start of production next month, that does not mean that they necessarily know anything about the story at the moment. While some scripts are being produced as we speak, the actors are only being clued in occasionally as to some key plot points.
So what does Steven Yeun have to say about what he actually knows about the upcoming storyline? The actor recently made an appearance at the College Television Awards in Los Angeles last week, and he said the following to Wetpaint without really saying too much at all:
“I really actually don’t know. We read the first script, and that’s it, and I can just say that it’s going to be pretty awesome. If I want to keep my job, that’s all I can say.”
The good news for Yeun’s Glenn is that compared to some of the other characters on the show last season, he actually made it out pretty well. He and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) are still going pretty strong, he’s engaged and neither is in any danger of losing their lives any more so than some of the other characters on the show. As a matter of fact, these two may be safer than just about any other character right now. After all, they are one of the rare symbols of hope on a show that does by and large deal with darkness and death most of the time.
