‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ review: Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore’s bonus footage
There’s no question that “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” can be a ridiculous show, but Sunday night’s new episode was more ridiculous than most of the footage we’ve seen this season. Then again, it was also one that you really did not have to watch to enjoy the season as a whole, given that it was basically a “bonus features” episode with a few funny moments that did not make it to broadcast or the reunion.
What we have here are a listing of what may be three of the strangest moments of the entire hour from this perspective.
Animal funerals – Phaedra Parks has managed to create quite a business for herself when it comes to her funeral ventures, but we didn’t quite think that we would ever see funerals for animals on this show. It’s not really that ridiculous since people love their pets, but at the same time, it’s not something that a lot of people do.
Kenya Moore’s dog strikes back – There was almost something rather entertaining in the blind optimism that Kenya had that her dog was actually going to behave itself in the house. One of her or Kandi Burruss’ dogs got in hot water for pooping in the house, and thus an investigation began that could have put Sherlock Holmes to shame (meaning that he would have been genuinely ashamed by this).
Kenya Moore defends herself – For bumping and grinding on someone else’s man. We understand her defense that there was no real physical contact, but at the same time we still don’t understand why she would ever want to party like this in the first place.
Did you enjoy some of the “hidden gems” this week, or do you prefer to have some sort of actual storyline to really tie things together? If you want to watch a video clip from this episode, be sure to visit the link here.
