‘Supernatural’ season 8 spoilers: Are we in for a major blast from Sam’s past?
While not every episode of “Supernatural” season 8 has necessarily been a home run, executive producer Jeremy Carver has done a pretty great thing in working to ensure that there are some pretty interesting callbacks to the series’ history over the past several months. Just the other week, for example, we had a return visit from Bobby; and now, the rumor mill is burning brightly with reports that we are going to have an actress come back to the show who has not been featured ever since the show’s first season.
While Taylor Cole’s character of Sarah Blake was featured briefly, she made quite the impact when it comes to one Sam Winchester. As a matter of fact, she was one of those women that could have really made a big impact on his life had he been in a different place emotionally at the time.
While there is no confirmation as to whether or not Cole is returning, the actress did tweet out the photo above of herself alongside Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. Given that the show films in Vancouver, we have a feeling that this meeting did not just occur by happenstance. If she is back, it would have to be for one of the last episodes of the season … which we’re hoping would lead to her having an even larger role to play in the early part of next season (but this is all speculation on our part).
Here’s are a few other interesting facts about Cole: she has been featured on “The Glades” and “CSI: Miami” since her time on “Supernatural,” and her prom date in high school was none other than recent “Bachelor” and current “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Sean Lowe.
What do you think: should Sarah return to “Supernatural”? If you want to check out the first photo of Metatron on the show’s set, be sure to head on over to the link here.

I always thought that if the Boys ever got to settle down it would be Sarah for Sam & Lisa for Dean. So here’s hoping that Taylor Cole gets to come back and play on Supernatural. Loved both actress’s!

Crossing my fingers here. Sarah was AWESOME. She was smart and brave, not the usual damsel-in distress type that I find so boring. Not to mention that she had a lot of chemistry with Sam. I’d totally love to see her back. Besides, it would be refreshing to have a guest star connecting with Sam for a change.

Sarah was a great character, I can easily see her being a love interest for Sam, one that resonates as they already have history, she already knows about Sam and Dean hunting, in fact, his only non-demonic, non-monster love interest that knows and is okay with it. Poor Amelia never had a good chance as her introduction did not make her endearing, and by the time we were getting to know her, her story already came to a close.

dude, i hope this is true!!! even though it was for just one episode, sarah was awesome!!! i think she would’ve made a great hunter! and really?! amelia?! i did not like her or the storyline w/her and sam. seriously, i hope sarah comes back for next season. :D

I loved the Sarah character and the Amelia character.
I think the problem with the “romance” depicted this year was the very poor dialogue written for Sam/Amelia scenes. I would be happy to have either lady back but someone needs to tell the writers that men and women do not communicate the same way as man to man.

Honestly, sick of these girls – bring someone new for both Sam and Dean. Someone normal that does not kick ass – Buffy has been done to death. If the writers can’t think of anything new maybe we need new writers. I found the character of Sarah Blake boring. I think she would be better suited for Dallas.

Sarah was a great match for Sam. They had a lot more chemistry than Sam and Amelia. I just hope that if Sarah returns, she isn’t killed off right away! Either way, it will be good to see her.

I think this will be great if it’s true. I for one don’t really care for the Amelia character. Sam needs a way to get over her.

She had no chemistry at all with Sam and she didn’t even mean anything to him. After 7 years I don’t understand why would he even remember her.And he is still in love with Amelia.I’d take Amelia over Sarah anytime. Please let this rumor be false because this is SO WRONG.
