‘The Carrie Diaries’ finale spoilers: A Carrie / Sebastian confrontation?

If you are a major fan of The CW’s “The Carrie Diaries,” we’re sure that you are bubbling over in some ways with anticipation for the season finale airing on Monday night. Before you get to that, though, allow us to share one final teaser when it comes to Carrie and Sebastian’s relationship … and what could turn it into a complete disaster.

According to a report from Zap2It, the good news for fans of the couple is that Carrie and Sebastian are going to end up getting back together in some shape or form before the prom arrives. However, this is where things will end up going a little bit haywire for the two. There is going to be something that happened before the characters actually arrive at prom that makes Sebastian more than a little bit upset, and it’s unclear if the relationship will ever recover.

What makes this bit of scoop particularly sad is that however the couple end this episode may be how they end up for good. The ratings for “The Carrie Diaries” have never been fantastic, and it’s possible that the show will be canceled before a season 2 even comes to fruition. Sadly, we won’t know a decision there until May.

Of course, one of the interesting things about this show is what you know looking into the future: not only does Carrie not really stay close to any of these people, but her endgame involves a certain Mr. Big, who of course doesn’t show up in her world until years later.
