‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: The sweet smell of regret

Big Brother CanadaWhen it is all but assured that you are leaving the “Big Brother Canada” house, there is sometimes very little you can do to keep focused on the game. Therefore, why not spend a little bit of that time trying to reflect while thinking about if there are any moves left for you to make? For one houseguest, this is how they ended up spending most of early Sunday afternoon. (Warning: the following contains spoilers from the life feed.)

As you surely know by now, Alec and Peter are currently on the block thanks to Head of Household Jillian, and thanks to Peter’s win, it looks as though Topaz is likely going to be the replacement nominee. (Jillian seems to be balking on the deal she made with her at the Head of Household Competition.)

So what does all this mean? That Alec’s goose is cooked, and all he has to do now is sit around and wonder what could have been. During a conversation Sunday, he proclaimed that the one major regret he has in the game to this point was voting to evict AJ rather than Andrew. Why? Andrew is now part of an alliance against him, and this move ended up causing the division between him and Topaz that has made the last few weeks in the house so difficult. We don’t quite know if AJ would have been an ally for Alec, either, he did like to be “one of the boys.” Not only that, but he was terrible at challenges in seem to have no interest in winning any of them.

The strangest thing we’re hearing about is the talk that Alec “gave up” during the Veto Competition, but it’s really unclear if it was because he knew that he had no shot at winning, or because he felt bad about Peter being put on the block because of him.

Do you think the game would be different now were AJ still in the game? If you want to read some more of the fallout from the Veto competition, you can do so over at the link here.
