New promos: ‘Supernatural’ season 8, ‘Beauty and the Beast’s’ return

Just to keep your TV-loving heart beating on what has been thus far a pretty quiet Easter weekend, we have a pair of new promos worth sharing that come straight from the world of The CW. The sad news? Only one of them really has any sort of new content in it at all.

The first promo, for the rest of “Supernatural” season 8, really just feels like a bum-rush to the forehead, or one of those random series of images that Chuck Bartowski would get thanks to the intersect. It’s cool without a doubt, but it’s pretty hard to argue that it really does not do much of a job at actually telling you anything that is going to be happening on the show moving forward. Therefore, we really have to say that this one is much for all the diehard fans that are currently out there.

Meanwhile, the second clip that we have to share here is the promo for the next “Beauty and the Beast” episode airing on April 18, and with things slowly starting to look up for the show when it comes to its renewal hopes (even if it is far but guaranteed), it’s a little bit easier to get excited about what is coming up down the road. This episode has a title that would make Joseph Conrad very happy in “Heart of Darkness,” and you can read the official synopsis via the network below:

“Evan (Max Brown) confesses his love to Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and admits that he tipped off Muirfield to Vincent’s (Jay Ryan) whereabouts. Meanwhile, Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) finds evidence that someone in the department is a mole who was working with the vigilante.”
