‘Supernatural’ season 8, episode 19 preview: Jared Padalecki’s shocking mission

SupernaturalWe have a feeling that Wednesday night’s new “Supernatural” episode is one that fans have been looking forward to for quite a long time. Why? We first teased it yesterday, and now we can finally confirm that an old friend of the show in Bobby is going to be featured here for the first time since Sam and Dean Winchester burned his bones in what was a pretty emotional time.

So how in the world is this character coming back? Well, let’s just say that executive producer Jeremy Carver has found a pretty unique way to (ahem) carve him back into the story. After he died, Bobby in theory should have went up to heaven; however, thanks to a certain guy by the name of Crowley, he has been instead trapped within the walls of hell. This is surely not a fate that the guy deserves, and thus it is going to be up to Jared Padalecki’s Sam in order to save him.

The twist? In this case, there are actually two of them:

1. Sam is going to have to owe a taxi driver of sorts a favor in return for his transport into the underworld.

2. He’s not going to be able to bring Jensen Ackles’ Dean, since as a result of the trials that he is also in the process of trying to complete, he has to go it alone here. Now, what we are more curious about than anything is whether Sam will sacrifice bringing back Bobby to this world for the sake of the tablet.

What do you think about the way in which Bobby has been worked back into the story? If you want to want another preview to watch form this episode, you can see it just by heading on over to the link here.
