‘Dancing With The Stars’ 16: Wynonna Judd connects with Andy Dick

Wynonna JuddWynonna Judd has quickly become one of the favorites on “Dancing With The Stars” 16 and with the country fan base behind her we foresee her quick-stepping her way to the top without too much of a problem, but it might not be the same for one of the other stars she’s made a close connection with.

As funny and talented as Andy Dick is, he has faced some real struggles throughout his career in Hollywood, making him a bit of an underdog on this season of “Dancing With The Stars”.  This season has only been airing for a week, but we have already seen his vulnerability and how deeply things can affect him, something that is refreshing to see on a reality show like “Dancing With The Stars”.

As it turns out we are not the only ones that feel that connection to Andy.  In a new interview with Access Hollywood Live, Wynonna revealed that she feels a real connection with Andy and said that not knowing about his past troubles is a good thing, because she is able to see Andy in the moment.  She said:

“I actually connect with Andy.  I think people of the United States of America identify with, not only the underdog, but someone who’s wounded and Andy’s a very wounded spirit and the first thing he did was come up to me and hug me and he lays his head on my shoulder like I’m his sister/mommy, and people don’t understand what a dear he is. By the way, I [have no] idea [about] his past, which is probably a good thing, I don’t watch a lot of TV – and I just don’t know, so I see Andy for who he is in that moment, and he could not be sweeter.”
