‘Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites’ rankings: Cochran, Dawn easily top Bikal

John CochranNow that we have two tribes again on “Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites,” we can go back to ranking now the way in which we enjoy it best: on a tribe-by-tribe basis. We’re going to start here with the purple tribe known as Bikal, mostly because we have a feeling that we’ll be seeing a lot of them in the weeks ahead.

Has there been a group of people more mismatched at challenges? We’re not quite sure. They are largely an entertaining bunch, so it’s going to be sad to see them whittled down leading up to a merge. The explanation should be pretty self-explanatory for these rankings, but we’re basing them on strategy, edit, and being a potential threat down the road.

6. Julia Landauer – Julia seems like a perfectly nice, smart person, which is probably why she is not really receiving much airtime this season. There’s too many other crazy characters! We also can’t imagine her sticking around very long now, considering how Corinne loves “the gays” and this tribe is doomed to fall apart.

5. Michael Snow – While we could see Corinne or some other people trying to mount an attempt to keep Michael, the Favorites all probably know that it is better to keep someone around who is a part of your own tribe than a wild card. This is why Michael better be hoping and praying for a merge to happen pretty darn soon.

4. Corinne Kaplan – It’s all about the devil you know more so than the devil you don’t. Let’s put it this way: if this tribe gets down to five and there is no merge, it would be feasible to see Cochran, Phillip, and Dawn getting together to vote Corinne out. The Specialist has already made it clear that he is not a fan, and both of the other Favorites know that Phillip is not nearly as dangerous in terms of strategy and is the perfect jury bait for the endgame.

3. Phillip Sheppard – Then again, Cochran and Dawn in a similar situation could take (so long as Julia is gone) Corinne and Michael and vote out the leader of Stealth R Us himself. We know that Corinne would be happy to do so, and it may give some of them a little bit of peace of mind.

2. John Cochran – The only way we see Cochran going at this point before the merge is if the tribe loses another challenge, and are so worried about losing another one moving forward that they get rid of the physical liability. However, we would say that there is a 0.0001% chance of that happening. Cochran’s in a fantastic spot: he can play puppetmaster while the physical threats take each other out.

1. Dawn Meehan – While Cochran has a 0.0001% chance of getting voted out pre-merge, for Dawn it’s about 0.000001%. She’s nice to be around, a hard worker, and is decent in the challenges. She’s also got two people on her tribe that hate each other, and nobody at the merge is going to target her right away. At the moment, Cochran and Dawn could be the most dangerous pair left in this game.
