‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 18 preview: Can Pinocchio save the world?

Once Upon a TimeEver since the end of “Once Upon a Time’s” first season, there is one question that has continually plagued our mind time and time again: what in the world happened to August W. Booth? The last we saw of the man otherwise known as Pinocchio, it was becoming clear that magic returning to Storybrooke and the curse being broken, while very good for many people, was not necessarily so for him. Instead, he suddenly was set to lose his status as “real boy” (or should we say real man?), and he disappeared from the show while some other characters came into the limelight.

We’re glad to see next Sunday’s “Selfless, Brave, and True” is being kind enough to actually remind us in some ways of the show’s early days, just as “Welcome to Storybrooke” did in terms of featuring some characters (Sheriff Graham, Billy) who are dearly departed. Of course, there will also be some new faces mixed in her, as well. Get ready to see what happens when Neal Cassady’s fiancee Tamara arrives into town, and the promo below suggests that she is not necessarily going to be the nicest person around.

Meanwhile, more complications from the real world will up reigning down on the town. Greg, who was revealed to be a child named Owen who was a visitor to the town back in its very first week of existence, is certainly on a mission of his own to seemingly expose the place’s secret to the world, and this is a threat that all of the characters can agree on. Oh, and we should also assume that Captain Hook will turn up again eventually, as Colin O’Donoghue was shelved for a few episodes due to a leg injury.
