‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Lana Parrilla talks extent of Regina’s evil

Lana ParrillaIf you thought that we were looking at an evil queen previously on “Once Upon a Time,” just wait to see what Lana Parrilla’s character is up to now. Now that she knows that Mary Margaret is responsible for killing Cora, it doesn’t even matter that she and her mother did not exactly have the best relationship in the world (or even any relationship at all): she still wants vengeance, and will probably stop at nothing to get it at this point.

So how will this change for the character push the story forward? As Parrilla explains in a new interview with TV Guide, Regina has a new sense of drive behind her that is going to cause her to do more than just threaten so wicked actions from time to time; she’s actually going to act on them:

“All bets are off … I think she’s more dangerous than she’s ever been. She’s even more dangerous because… she makes the choice to be the bad girl again and that’s scary because she’s just so angry. Her relationship with Rumple before was a game, but now I think she’s going to really go after him.”

Obviously, the person that will be in the crosshairs the most at the moment is Henry, and it’s hard to tell just how Regina will reconcile her love for the child with the fact that she will now being doing things that he has long spoken out against her doing. May she try to rope Snow White into this, and say that his very own grandmother is hardly any better and she is just fighting fire with fire? At this point, we would certainly not put it past her.

Do you prefer the Evil Queen more when she is full-on, or do you like a more layered, conflicted Regina? If you want to see more from Sunday night’s new “Welcome to Storybrooke” episode, you can do so by heading on over to the link here.
