‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 5, episode 17 review: Phaedra vs Kenya round 2
On this week’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” The ladies are headed out to Las Vegas and everyone decided to take bus there from LA (except for NeNe who had to work and will meet them later) but as the bus ride goes on the conversation gets dirtier and more disgusting as they reveal things about themselves that no one needs to know.
When the ladies finally arrive they decide to go to a gentleman’s club, but Porsha doesn’t want to go because she doesn’t feel comfortable going and her husband would have issue with it. What makes Porsha even more angry is that she feels she was misled – that she was told they were going to a club, not this kind of a club, so she bails on the group. The ladies feel that Porsha’s decision not to go to the “club” was about being controlled by her husband more then a decision she made herself, so they are concerned.
The next day while in the bus, NeNe decides to have a group discussion about Porsha and her decision not come to the strip club. She tells Porsha that her husband is not the king and she doesn’t need to have her be at home all the time for him. Porsha tells the group that she is more then fine in her relationship the way it is and that she’s happy she is with someone who is traditional.
Later that night the ladies stay in and have a “Kandi Party” where she shows the ladies her new “products”, but when Phaedra makes a rude comment about Walter and Kenya and things get ugly. Kenya confronts Phaedra saying that she felt that Phaedra intentionally tried to hurt her, but Phaedra says that she feels that Kenya hurt her. Cynthia steps in and says that they are both responsible for hurting the other person and that they should both apologize, but nothing comes of it.
Do you think that Phaedra crossed the line with her comment about Walter? Do you feel that Porsha’s relationship with her husband is traditional or controlling? Leave us a comment and tell us what you thought of tonight’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”.

This episode looked disgusting from the previews, and sounds worse in the recaps. I think it’s enough to make me stop watching. I watched RHOA to get away from the thug life reality shows of VH1 only to see this. These “ladies” save Porsha are gross.

First, Iam a huge fan of RHOA. I feel Porsha wasn’t treated with respect because she didn’t want to go to the strip club. The ladies didn’t seem to care about how she felt. Porsha said she wasn’t comfortable because she was a Christian and participated or was the leader of some program in the church. She did say, of course her husband wouldn’t approve. Even if Kordell didn’t approve, that was still a good enough reason not to go in my opinion. She realizes she is on national t.v. and it will be seen.I don’t feel that he is controlling.Every relationship is different and not all Christians are the same. Kordell and Porsha are a couple in their way,Nene and Greg are their way. If Kordell met Nene they probably make a good couple because they don’t have the same things in common.I’m not saying Nene isn’t beautiful because she is. You get it now. Porsha didn’t deserve that and she shouldn’t have been lied to.I like all the ladies, some more than others, overall BIG FAN GIRLS AND I DON’T MISS AN EPISODE.
