‘American Idol’ notes: Adam Lambert, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez

American IdolWith our Sunday edition of “American Idol” notes, we have quite a bit worth talking about … but we will begin with an Adam Lambert interview that is fun, gracious, and even heartwarming straight from the singer’s travels in Singapore.

We don’t want to real spoil too much about what happens in the video, but there is a pretty cool moment at the end where the interviewer gets Adam to lend a helping hand in something that is very special to him. Apparently, it was so appreciated by Adam that he ended up even posting it on his Twitter account (and we hear that there is a very happy ending when it comes to the offer that is made).

Adam’s tour has been an exciting one to watch, mostly from the standpoint of seeing just how well he is faring in the Asian market, and the sort of exuberant passion that many of his fans have.

Phillip Phillips takes on London – While we do not have too much to share right now when it comes to what the reigning champ is specifically up to in England’s largest city, he and his band are kicking out a brief promotional tour there in the city. This is really Phillip’s first attempt at trying to crack a European market, and this is not something that has been easy for many other past contestants to do. As a matter of fact, Adam along with Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood (though it has taken her a very long time) are three of the only people who have had a great deal of success with it.
