‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4, episode 16: Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley talk it out (video)

Have you been begging for a new “Stelena” scene on “The Vampire Diaries”? Considering just how long it has been since the last new episode of the hit CW show, we have a feeling that you may just be begging for any new scenes at all.

Luckily, we do now finally have the much-awaited sneak peek for next week’s big return to TV in “Bring It On,” and it highlights what is ultimately going to be something that everyone has been looking forward to for some time: Elena getting back into her cheerleading ways. However, it doesn’t really seem that she is doing it for the school spirit so much as she is to suck the life out of a few unfortunately students that get in her way.

At the clip below shows, Nina Dobrev’s character has already drank the blood of one poor girl by the time Paul Wesley finds her, and she certainly seems intent on doing it to a few more hapless victims. Stefan tries to convince her otherwise, reminding this free-spirited version of the character that when he tried to run wild after becoming a vampire, he became known as a violent ripper who tore the heads off of people and destroyed entire villages. He was basically an addict to violence, and he does not want to see the same thing happen here to Elena.

Unfortunately, she does not seem to be concerned in the least about it, and moving forward this spells out trouble for the character in so many ways that we cannot even begin to describe.
