‘Royal Pains’ season 5 spoilers: Now with a touch of ‘Revenge’

Do we have a while to wait for “Royal Pains” to return? Sure, but as lovers of all things HankMed, we felt it appropriate to at least share a new tease ironically on the same day as the return of another one of our USA favorites in “Psych.”

According to a new report from E! News, there is going to be a woman within the Hamptons who sets her sights on Hank and Evan … and not necessarily in a good way. Her name is Blythe, and she has developed a reputation over the years of being someone who likes to constantly be in control. Perhaps the strongest comparison for the character, at least based on the report, is “Revenge’s” Victoria Grayson; however, considering the tone of this show we would be stunned if she was ever to venture into so dark of a place.

It will be interesting to see where “Royal Pains” picks up in the summer, especially after seeing everything unfold the way it did in December. Evan and Paige are now married, Divya is in a more engaged relationship with Rafa, and the practice seems to be set up well for a summer of business so long as Hank can recover from some of his injuries suffered in part thanks to the explosion in the season 4 finale. This will be an interesting one to watch, as the characters will be back in their element following a snow-covered wedding special that was missing a few key characters (including Dr. Jeremiah Sacani).
