‘Supernatural’ season 8, episode 16 preview: Now with ‘South Park’ references!

Supernatural“Supernatural” has gone many places over the course of eight years, but on Wednesday night’s all-new episode, we are going to see a touch of mythology enter the picture courtesy of some interesting new characters that Sam and Dean face off with.

In the video below, we have an opportunity to meet one of them, and suffice it to say that he enters the picture with a rather interesting story. It’s not often that you see a man talk about dying time and time again, but what is what this poor man from the mythological world deals with. He is killed, out of it for a few hours, and then he spring straight back to life. The only thing that makes this scene better is a quip from Dean about how he is the real-life version of Kenny from “South Park.”

There’s really not too much known about this episode (entitled “Remember the Titans”) at the moment, except that it should serve as a bridge between some of the standalone episodes we have seen over the past several weeks and much of a major storyline coming up. Castiel is coming back soon, and we are going to have an opportunity to see the continuation of his adventures with Naomi. Not only that, but the tablet story is far from done, and we are also going to be even more bumps in the road moving forward for the Winchester brothers (which they have been dealing with all season long).
