‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9, episode 16 preview: Derek makes his case
Are we ever going to see an end to the hospital drama on “Grey’s Anatomy” this season? The mad scramble to resolve the plan crash settlement is reaching a peak, and in an effort to purchase the hospital, the likes of Meredith, Derek, and the rest of the recently-resigned doctors are going to do their best to talk to anyone and everyone … including junior executives nearly young enough to be their children.
In the sneak peek below from Thursday night’s “This Is Why We Feet,” we have an opportunity to check out what is a pretty fascinating discussion between Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and a pair of guys in hoodies as he tries to explain what his vision is for the new Seattle Grace: a place that is not only responsible for treating people in need, but also a place of research where the latest and greatest medical advancements are made.
Sadly, we think that Derek was probably angling for a little bit of a different reaction that “neat,” which is the quote that we received back for the time being about his presentation. He is cautioned to be patient and to expect a call from the higher-ups to come in at any moment … but based on what we are seeing in this video alone, that call does not seem to be coming in. What’s the problem? Just as we don’t understand why buyers would not want to see Seattle Grace owned by a group of doctors, we don’t understand this, either.
Do you think that these characters are ever going to get this call that they are so hoping for? If you want to check out another sneak peek from Thursday’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” you can do so by heading on over to the link here.
