‘The Bachelor’: Sean Lowe references Tierra LiCausi, hilariously mocks tabloids
Valentine’s Day should be a reason to celebrate, right? Well, things were not quite so easy in the world of Sean Lowe on Thursday. As “The Bachelor,” the man is really scrutinized more than ever for clues in comparison to every other day of the year; so with that in mind, getting the opportunity to actually spend face-to-face time with the woman you picked on the show has to be pretty much impossible.
To make matters worse now, Sean is also dealing with a barrage of unusual tabloid headlines. The first one suggests that he ends up getting engaged to whoever he picks on the season finale of the show, and this is hardly a surprise given that we already knew that the show has a happy ending this year. However, what may be a little more surprising is the Us Weekly report that the woman that he picked is desperate to get into the sack with him. The problem? Sean has been throwing around the “born-again virgin” term for quite some time now, and he does not want to have sex with the woman he picked (at least per these reports) until marriage.
While it would have been easy for Sean to just not touch on these rumors at all, he instead made the following hilarious post on his Twitter account referencing the recently-eliminated contestant in Tierra LiCausi:
“Despite what the tabloids say, no one can steal my sparkle!”
This very quote may actually summarize perfectly why we believe Sean to be the best “Bachelor” the show has had in several years. While he takes the experience of being “The Bachelor” seriously, he does not handle the tabloids or the media attention the same way. He continues to be the same sort of fun-loving guy that he first was on Emily Maynard’s “Bachelorette,” and this is going to make it very hard for media outlets to dogpile him moving forward.
What do you think of the rumors, and the way in which Sean is handling them? If you want to see some new rumors surrounding Tierra and the upcoming “Women Tell All” taping, you can do so over here.
