‘Supernatural’ season 8 spoilers: Series boss talks ’emotional nail-biter’

SupernaturalIf there is one thing that you should take from Wednesday night’s new episode of “Supernatural,” it’s that you are probably going to be feeling pretty emotional by the end of ti. Remember some of the tension that was there at the start of the year with Sam and Dean Winchester? Well, that is not going away just yet.

As executive producer Jeremy Carver teases below, Wednesday night’s “Trial and Error” will be an exercise in seeing just how far Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles’ characters have really come since they first took on the roles of hunters yet again. The story of the tablet and Kevin will return for the first time in weeks, and the trials that are needed in order to close the gates of hell for good are going to cause some conflict between the two characters, even though many of their goals are ultimately the same.

The words that we specifically find interesting from Carver are the ones that the closing minutes of this episode are going to be an “emotional nail-biter,” one that will seemingly have viewers everywhere on the edge of their seats, begging to know just what happens next. The brothers are not going to be wrapping up this tablet story by any measure Wednesday night; and not only that, there is another story involving Castiel and Naomi that has a very important role to play. (Misha Collins and Amanda Tapping have been on set in the past week, so rest assured that they will both be back within the coming weeks.)

In case you missed the exciting news earlier this week, “Supernatural” season 9 is official! You can read even more details on this subject by heading over to the link here.
