‘The X Factor’ USA: Fifth Harmony reunites in Los Angeles, holds first meetings

Fifth HarmonySince there’s not too much happening today in the world of “The X Factor,” we figured that we would just narrow things down and talk about everything Fifth Harmony related. After all, isn’t the fact that the group is back together a reason to celebrate?

For the first time since AllyBrooke, Camila, Dinah Jane, Lauren, and Normani finished this past season in third place, the group all flew back into Los Angeles this week to start getting to work on recording their debut album. Last night, they had their first dinner together as a group since the holidays at SUR, which is the popular restaurant also featured on the show “Vanderpump Rules.”

Meanwhile, on Wednesday the ladies had their first executive meeting with Epic Records, which is who they signed with earlier this year. It’s not clear just how involved L.A. Reid will be in producing their album given that he is the chairman of the label, as he is also no longer a judge on the show and is likely going to take more of an overseer role.

If you want to see some more Fifth Harmony fun, all you have to do is check out the story here for how the group first reacted to seeing each other. In case you are wondering when their album will come out, we’re betting on a late summer / early fall release given that they need some time to build more chemistry and get their songs right. Plus, this is the perfect frame to launch a few singles that can be promoted on “The X Factor” season 3. While America has yet to see a big-name star launched from this show, this is the sort of window that has worked well for some British contestants, including groups One Direction and Little Mix.

In case you want to read some more new on upcoming singles from a pair of other “X Factor” USA personalities in Demi Lovato and Tate Stevens, you can do so over at the link here.
