‘Supernatural’ season 8 spoilers: First look at ‘Remember the Titans’
Sometimes, “Supernatural” chooses to go with some clever puns in their episode titles; as for the upcoming “Remember the Titans” later this season, they are merely going for a full-on tribute. However, what we can say is that this episode is touching much more on Greek mythology than a group of high school football players trying to find their place in the world.
The bad news for the episode? The official synopsis below makes no mention of Castiel, so apologies in advance for all the Misha Collins fans out there who have been begging to find out some more news on his return soon. However, it still looks as though we are in for a rather entertaining hour that at first sounds like “The Walking Dead” gone terribly awry:
“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are stumped when they investigate a possible zombie case where an amnesiac man (guest star John Reardon) dies and then revives himself once a day. After the guy is attacked by the goddess Artemis [guest star Anna Von Hooft], Sam and Dean realize he’s not a zombie but instead a God, more specifically, Prometheus.”
Brooke Langton of “Friday Night Lights,” while not listed in this press release, has also been cast to play the part of a mom who is desperate to do anything and everything she can in order to find a way to heal her son. Reardon, meanwhile, has already done some work in Canada (where “Supernatural” shoots) on the sci-fi series “Continuum.”
Does this episode sound like one that you will want to “remember”? (Rim shot.) If you want to catch a preview for Wednesday night’s new “Supernatural” episode “Trial and Error,” you can do so by visiting the link here.
