Kendall Jenner not following in Kim Kardashian’s footsteps yet with spin-off show
Is Kendall Jenner getting ready to take New York, Miami, or Los Angeles? Don’t count on it. At the moment, the young reality star doesn’t seem to be keen to take anything other than a high school diploma. Despite already being a successful model while still a teenager, neither her nor her little sister Kylie seem to be altogether interested for the time being in following big sister Kim Kardashian in getting a spin-off show of their own.
Speaking in a new interview with TooFab, Kendall explained the reasoning behind this move in very rational terms: both she and Kylie actually want to have some semblance of a normal life at least until they become actual adults (and it is very easy to forget just how young they really are):
“We want to be kids, we want to have a kids-ish life so I don’t think another reality show is in our plan anytime soon … We wouldn’t be where we are now without the show, it obviously has changed our lives for the better and given us opportunities, but it does have its ups and downs.”
This does in some ways mark a change from what the younger Jenner sisters said previously, and that was that they believed a spin-off show would be fun. What changed their mind? It may be seeing some of the negative impact the reality show has had on the lives of their famous sisters as of late, in particular Kim as she tries to handle a pregnancy simultaneously with a very nasty divorce from Kris Humphries.
