‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: Brandi Glanville auditions for ‘CSI’

Brandi GlanvilleWe have seen housewife after housewife try to use the “Real Housewives” series as a springboard to move into singing careers (most of them ending in total embarrassment), but the housewives that have tried their hand at acting on the other hand have done quite well for themselves.

NeNe Leakes from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has guest starred on two of Ryan Murphy’s hit series in “Glee” and “The New Normal” and has done exceptionally well on both shows (we love watching her give Sue Sylvester a hard time on “Glee” as coach Roz).  Kenya Moore (also from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”) has also tried her hand at acting before appearing on the hit Bravo series and says that she has another movie as well as some work on a TV series coming up in the near future.  So which other housewife is trying to make the move from reality star into the world of acting?

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville has been a model for years, but it looks like she is ready to change it up and get into the world of acting.  In a recent Twitter post, Glanville revealed that she was getting ready to audition for a major network show in “CSI”.  She wrote: “I[‘m] running to an audition for… CSI so funny #irony.”

Her hashtag of #irony likely relates to the fact that her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian had a recurring role on “CSI:Miami” as Jessie Cordoza.  If Glanville lands this role on CSI it will be her very first acting gig, but if NeNe is any indication as to what the Real Housewives can bring to the table as far as acting chops then we can’t wait to see what Brandi can do.

A new episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs tonight at 9 p.m. on Bravo, but if you can’t wait until then and you want a little sneak peek at tonight’s episode then be sure to check out a preview here.
