‘Bones’ season 8, episode 12 preview: Is Pelant tormenting Hodgins and Angela?

With the holiday season finally over we have brand new episodes of “Bones” season 8 coming back next week starting with a double episode, and while those episodes will be a lot of fun since one of them focuses on Brennan and Booth entering a dance competition called “Dance to the Top” we want to give you some news on a killer that has been tormenting the Jeffersonian team for a while now – Pelant.

On January 21st we will see Hodgins and Angela lose their minds when they wake up after being drugged and to find a body hanging over them in the canopy of their bed.  Things get even worse for the couple when they discover flower petals surrounding their son, Michael’s, crib.  They immediately believe that Pelant is back and is looking for revenge against Hodgins.  Even though Hodgins is ready to go after Pelant directly, Booth tries to convince him that it’s better to go through the system. It seems that Booth’s pep talk will fall on deaf ears and Angela and Hodgins will start an investigation with out the rest of the team for the sake of protecting their family.

We will also see Cam and Arastoo’s romance go public in t he next few episodes, and while some people at the lab will be supportive of their relationship Brennan, will not be happy about the hook up (can we say hypocrite?) “Bones” season 8 will be back on Fox on Monday, January 14 starting at 8 p.m. for a special double episode.

UPDATE: We’ve also just heard from Fox’s TCA panel that “Bones” has been renewed for a ninth season.
