Showtime releases first details on ‘House of Lies’ season 2, ‘Shameless’ season 3
The new year is quickly approaching, and for fans of TV this really means one thing above all else: the opportunity to check out some new programming that we haven’t quite seen in a while! Showtime in particular has a great lineup coming up, as we are set to see the return of “Shameless,” “House of Lies,” and “Californication” to the lineup all beginning on Sunday, January 13.
Just to make the wait a little less excruciating, we also have a few assorted details about all three of the shows’ return to TV courtesy of the network itself. What show are you the most excited to see of the group? As always, we want to hear your thoughts below!
“Shameless” season 3 episode 1 (“El Gran Canon”) – “Now that they’re living together, Fiona struggles to accept the new ‘boring’ Jimmy. Frank wakes up in a place completely foreign to him. Lip is sentenced to community service. Baby Hymie keeps Jody and Sheila up all night.”
“House of Lies” season 2, episode 1 (“Stochasticity”) – “Marty and the Pod adjust to the ‘new’ Galweather Stearn in the aftermath of the sexual harassment scandal. Interim CEO, Julianne Hofschrager, needs Marty to live up to his reputation of being a fearless closer but that expectation poses a challenge when Marty consults with Mr. Pincus, a valued client no one in the company knows. Meanwhile, Jeannie relives haunting memories from a drunken night out and Marty struggles to patch things up with his son Roscoe.”
“Californication” season 6, episode 1 (“The Unforgiven”) – “Hank Moody may have survived a murder-suicide attempt by his lovelorn ex, Carrie, but she’s still haunting his dreams. Charlie takes his best friend and star client to meet rocker Atticus Fetch about giving ‘A Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ the Broadway treatment. A revelation about Becca prompts a tailspin that causes Charlie, Karen and Marcy to take action with Hank.”
