‘Glee’ season 4: Lea Michele and cast wrap filming for the year
Never let it be said that the cast from “Glee” aren’t some of the hardest working, most dedicated actors out there in TV land. While many television sets have already stopped filming for the holidays, giving their actors and actresses some much needed time off, Ryan Murphy had the “Glee cast filming right up until December 20th – could this cast be anymore dedicated to the show?
Lea Michele announced the last day of “Glee” filming (until the new year that is) on her Twitter account yesterday, and thanked the “hard working crew” for everything that they’ve done through out the year. She wrote: “Back on set! Last day of filming before my holiday break! Shooting today @chriscolfer and @geyerdean!” and “That’s a wrap! Time now for a long holiday break! So thankful for our amazing and hard working crew:) Let the vaca begin!”
With Rachel winning the Winter Showcase at NYADA this year and working things out (sort of) with Brody, it seems that she is on top of the world at the moment, but if we know Ryan Murphy, he’ll likely find a way to make everything come crashing down on her before the season is out.
New episodes of “Glee” season 4 won’t be returning to Fox until January 10th (airing at 9 p.m.), but we will continue to bring you news and spoilers for what’s coming up in the second half of the season through out the holidays, so be sure to check back often for updates. No argument that the cast and crew of Glee must work extremely hard. It’s just too bad they have such poor material to work with. Hopefully, this will be the last year for this mess of a show, and these talented folks can find better vehicles for their considerable talents. It’s both stunning and sad to see a show engage in so much self-promotion proclaiming itself as all about inclusion, when the scripts are so incredibly mean-spirited. I checked out the Christmas episode in hopes there might be more music and less hate onscreen, and was quite disappointed. Will not bother again. I would definitely not allow children to see this show—-too many poor role models.
