Now that MTV has canceled “Jersey Shore” some of the cast members have already secured other shows, like “Snooki & JWoww” and Vinny’s talk show, but what about Pauly D? He’s already had one season of “The Pauly D Project” that aired on MTV with lackluster ratings, but regardless of what the viewership was he is said to have been offered a second season of the series. With “Jersey Shore” being canceled, why is Pauly D stalling on signing up for a second season of his very own show?
Well according to TMZ Pauly D is entertaining other offers and one of them is from another network. Sources close to the situation say that although MTV has been working with Pauly D since 2009 and have allegedly offered him a second season of “The Pauly D Project” he likely won’t be signing on for another season. Pauly D is allegedly stalling on signing with MTV again because the E! Network has also offered him a show and they’re offering him a lot more money for his time. The sources went on to say that Pauly D is getting very close to signing a deal with the E! Network and that he’s already had three meetings with them about the new show.
So what will Pauly D’s show be about if he goes with E! Network? Rumor has it that the series will be more focused on Pauly D’s life rather then his DJ career, but knowing what we know about Pauly D and how much this kid works, we’re not really sure how much of a life he has outside of his career – and honestly his career is really what makes watching him interesting, because clearly folks are tired of watching the guy gym, tan and laundry since “Jersey Shore” has been canceled. We hope that Pauly D knows what he’s doing, because as much as we want to see the guy back on TV, we don’t want to watch the “Jersey Shore” minus the rest of the cast.
