‘The X Factor’ USA: How Fifth Harmony is preparing for finale
The way we are looking at Wednesday night’s season 2 finale for “The X Factor” USA is really rather simple: you have two artists in Carly Rose Sonenclar and Tate Stevens who are the undisputed favorites, and then you have the wild cards in Fifth Harmony, who are a group that has drawn support more recently as it hopes to build enough of an overnight following to challenge for the grand prize.
So is this really going to happen? That much is still relatively unclear, but the ladies are at least doing their best to prepare for the final week of shows. In a new post on their Twitter account, the singers announced that they are already hard at work with just about every aspect of their next performance, whether it be working on their staging, their vocals, or making sure that they have every facet of it right. In addition to that, they were also spotted this week out with Christmas clothes in Venice Beach. That’s right: because Venice Beach is the one place you really want to be while wearing mittens.
There is no word just yet on what sort of song these ladies could be performing, but they are sure to probably break out a combination of something upbeat (which is really the reason they are still around right now thanks to their “Anything Could Happen” performance) along with a ballad that shows off a little bit more of their harmonizing ability and vocal strength.
Do you think that these ladies really do have what it takes to be the winners, especially since their massive underdog status could in many ways be an enormous boost for them? We want to hear more of your thoughts below, and you can see where Fifth Harmony stands in our latest “X Factor” USA rankings here.
