‘Jersey Shore’ season 6: MTV airing marathon of all seasons

December 20th is quickly approaching and with that will come the end of an fist pumping, Ron Ron juice drinking era – the series finale of “Jersey Shore”.

Although “Jersey Shore” season 6 has been a bit of a let down now that no one seems to be drinking or bed hopping with Snooki being pregnant and the Situation continuing his sober living, we still have the previous 5 seasons of the show that still make us smile even though we’ve watched them all a million times over.  That being said we are totally excited about the week long marathon of all seasons of the “Jersey Shore” that  MTV has already started airing and will be airing all the way up to the series finale on Thursday.  MTV will play all of the seasons in chronological order, so fans can see where it all began and follow their adventures one last time (we’re looking forward to the “Where’s The Beach” episode the most – best five minutes of television ever).  The marathon will not only include the original episodes, but also bonus interviews, never before seen footage and special goodbye messages from the cast.

The marathon will lead up to the series finale that will air on Thursday, December 20 at 10 p.m. on MTV and will be immediately followed by a special live reunion at 11 p.m. where the cast will be together for the last time and talk about their experiences on “Jersey Shore” for the past 6 seasons. If you’re worried that the “Jersey Shore” cast will disappear after the series finale, fear not – We have Snooki and JWoww hosting the MTV New Years Eve Bash, Vinny has a talk show coming up and we have the second season of “Snooki & JWoww” premiering on Tuesday, January 8 at 10 P.m. on MTV.

Are you glad that “Jersey Shore” is going off the air when it is, or do you feel that it should’ve ended last season? Leave us a comment and tell us what you are going to miss most about “Jersey Shore”.
