NBC’s ‘The Voice’: Charlie Sheen gets involved, supports Nicholas David
Who knew that Charlie Sheen was such a fan of singing competitions? If nothing else, we now know that he is a fan of Cee Lo Green’s and wants to wish the guy well in everything that he does. In many ways, this support makes some sense given that Green has filmed a cameo already for Sheen’s FX comedy “Anger Management,” which will be returning with all-new episodes early next year.
In a post on his Twitter account Monday night, the king of winning himself tweeted out a message in hopes of getting Cee Lo’s two contestants Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David into the finale. Unfortunately, he succeeded with only one of them as Trevin was sent home. Maybe someone should teach Charlie the finer ways of voting moving forward, since this season is really starting to make it clear that sales on iTunes are really the only thing that seem to matter at the end of day. Since these sales are cumulative and Cassadee Pope has already secured a pretty huge lead, there may not eve be anything that Sheen can do about it.
Regardless, this latest message is just yet another piece of goodwill from a man who was once incensed in all sorts of tabloid scandals. He has turned his life around in a pretty major way these past few months, which include him giving money to charity, staying out of trouble, and focusing his energy on “Anger Management” and the people (like Cee Lo) who choose to stop by.
Do you think that the support of Sheen could help Nicolas in any way moving forward? If you want to know even more details on the actor’s appearance on the show, you can do so by visiting the story over at the link here.
